Note: This help topic is out of date and currently archived.

Update: May 27, 2021

Effective May 20, fully vaccinated HCPSS staff in non-school facilities were permitted to remove their masks in personal spaces, such as offices or cubicles. Masks are still to be worn in public spaces, including hallways, restrooms, conference spaces, and the Boardroom Cafe or when interacting with members of the public. All staff, students and visitors must continue to adhere to mask guidelines and social distancing requirements while in school buildings, except while eating or drinking.

Effective May 27, face coverings will no longer be required for fully vaccinated staff members in non-school building public spaces, including hallways, restrooms, conference spaces, and the Boardroom Cafe or when interacting with members of the public.

Please note, prevention measures, such as mask wearing and 6 feet of social distancing, are still recommended for unvaccinated people. Additional information on masks requirements in school buildings and PPE for staff are available online.
