How can Central Office staff request Technology Support?

In alignment with the Central Office Reoccupation Plan and the Return to the Workplace Health and Safety Guide, Central Office staff must follow the procedures below when requesting technology support. 

  • Central Office staff must call 410-313-7004 or email technology support at techsupport@hcpss.org. Technology Support Specialists often are able to help users by providing self-help resources and/or remoting into users’ computers to fix issues.  
  • Central Office staff requiring urgent in-person support must go to the Technology Support Center at the ARL, Room B37 (door to the right of the front entrance). This space has plexiglass barriers and allows for proper social distancing. 
    • Hours of operation:
      • Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
      • Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2-5 p.m.
  • Central Office staff who need assistance at their workstation must call or email Technology Support and request that a support ticket be entered for a Field Technician to help them. 

Employees are not to walk up to Technology Support Staff cubes to request support.
