Yes. Temporary employees who work with students with Individualized Education Plans are expected to return to school buildings when students return.
Additionally, classroom monitors will be hired to monitor students in the classroom if teachers are delivering virtual instruction. Lunch/recess monitors will support students during lunch and recess in elementary schools. Information on these positions and how to apply can be found online.
Temporary employees will be eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, along with other school-based staff. Please note that employees are encouraged to, but not required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
