Testing protocols are being finalized by MAKO and will include 12 testing sites located at each high school. Each site will have a testing window either before, during or after the school day. As we progress through the school year, the schedule, including site locations and times, may adjust to meet changing demands. 

Beginning October 11, staff may be tested at any other public or private testing location, and provide their results once per week. The day of the week does not have to be the same each week as long as testing occurs once between Sunday and Saturday. Staff will not receive coverage for their classroom or job responsibilities in order to be tested so they must do so at times that do not require coverage. 

Per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

To be considered fully vaccinated, employees need to be at least two weeks past the second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine, and two weeks past the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) vaccine.

Staff may use the PinPoint VaccineCheck web platform to verify their vaccination status. Staff should contact communications@hcpss.org to be sent a unique link for you to complete the process. As of Sept. 27, all previous VaccineCheck links have been disabled. Also, they should alert their supervisor of the change if needed. 

Showing your COVID-19 vaccination card is not a requirement of the PinPoint system. 

Those who live in Maryland and wish to have a replacement card and should contact their vaccination provider to receive a replacement COVID-19 vaccination card. The Maryland Department of Health also offers online vaccination records through Maryland MyIR.
