Employees are eligible for tuition reimbursement based upon the appropriate bargaining unit negotiated agreement or memorandum of understanding. Guidelines regarding eligibility and reimbursement amounts are detailed within the negotiated agreements.

No. The retired substitute teacher rate is for retired teachers only. Documentation that you retired as a teacher must be provided by your former employer.
No. You will be processed at a degreed substitute teacher rate.

If your curriculum interview is less than a year old, you will not need to interview again this year.
If you have not worked, HCPSS will consider references from a supervisor of volunteer experience or a recent teacher or other mentor. HCPSS cannot accept references from family, friends, coworkers or other personal references.
